Aaruush also known as a national level techno-management fest ‘technical fest’ when final year students put their minds to come up with an ideas.SRM University's Aaruush was inaugurated by our ex-president Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. "Seek and you shall find, when you feel everything is lost, innovation will guide you through", his words still echo in the minds of many. 2007, the birth year of Aaruush, with 26 events and about 3000 participants in its very first year. With over 40 events and 4500 participants and a budget of 2.5 million, Aaruush’s progress could not be missed. The next year of 2009 Aaruush emerged as a ‘techno-management’ fest when Aaruush tried to fuse management and technology along with the addition of two new domains - Fundaz and Online events.From the year of 2010 &2011 saw Aaruush getting associated itself with organizations like European Southern Observatory, IEEE, European Space Agency and DRDO .With NGOs like PETA, WWF and many others associating themselves with Aaruush and supporting the causes that it stood for, it can proudly be said that Aaruush has carved its niche in the world of tech fests.
